Simsapa Combined Dictionary

This is a composite dictionary which contains - Pali Text Society's Pali English Dictionary (PTS) - Dictionary of Pali Proper Names (DPPN) - New Concise Pali English Dictionary (NCPED) - Nyanatiloka's Buddhist Dictionary

Pali English Ultimate (PEU)

Pali Myanmar Abhidhan is the world's largest Pali dictionary, a massive 23 volumes, with more than 200 000 words, a complete reference guide to the language of the root texts and commentaries.

PEU is a project in progress to translate the Abhidhan's definitions into English, currently at about 80% human translated, the remainder is by Google. You can find the Project Website here. PEU dictionary is integrated into Tipitaka Pali Reader.

Dictionary of Pāli Proper Names (DPPN)

The DPPN by G. P. Malalasekera has been updated and revised by Ven. Ānandajoti in June 2025. It is available online from his website, Ancient Buddhist Texts or via the links above for offline use.
