Contributing
You can contribute to DPD in many ways, but the primary two are helping with Pāḷi and software development.
Pāḷi Contributions
The most impactful way to contribute to DPD is through Pāḷi knowledge. You don't need to be a developer. You can add missing words, correct mistakes, or fill in gaps in existing entries, all through simple Google Forms. Hundreds of community suggestions come in each month through these forms.
Code Contributions
If you're a software developer and would like to contribute, the codebase covers Python, HTML/CSS/JS, Go, and TypeScript. See the code contribution guide for details, and the developer docs for technical references.
Other Ways to Help
If you don't have time to contribute directly, you can still help by sharing DPD with fellow Pāḷi students, using it in your projects, or simply getting in touch with feedback and ideas.
For the full contribution guidelines, including development setup and pull request process, see the CONTRIBUTING.md on GitHub.
