- Complete exercises and examples from Tipiṭaka for class 23
- In the exercises, break up every verb and participle into
prefix + root + root sign + verbal ending / suffix.
e.g. paṭiggaṇhāmi: or the classic way:
pati + √gah + ṇhā + ti √gah 6 (to grasp) + ṇhā > gaṇhā
pati + gaṇhā + mi
And other words with prefixes or the classic way:
e.g. viññāṇaṃ : vi + √ñā + aṇa vi + √ñā 5 nā (know) + aṇa + aṃ
extra task: underline the subject, object(s) and *predicate* of the sentences
- Learn the vocabulary from the exercises using Anki Deck “Vocab Pāli Class”
- Learn the prefixes using Anki Deck “Grammar Pāli Class”
- Learn roots and phonetic changes using any of the available decks.
